Dr. Michelle Piñon
Dr. Michelle Piñon is a South Florida native who is passionate about creating positive, comfortable dental experiences for children. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and began her dental journey working full-time as a dental assistant while completing two Master’s degrees.
In 2019, Dr. Piñon followed her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist by enrolling at Nova Southeastern University. During her time there, she was a dedicated leader, serving as Class Vice President and President of the Hispanic Student Association.
After dental school, Dr. Piñon completed her pediatric residency with NYU Langone, where she gained diverse experiences including full mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia and extensive training with dental emergencies at the Level 1 trauma center, Hasbro Children’s Hospital. She was also chosen to be a part of a panel of multidisciplinary specialists for the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program at Brown University.
Dr. Piñon has a special passion for working with children on the autism spectrum. Inspired by her own brother, who has autism, she brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to every patient interaction. She believes that a child’s early dental visits can shape a lifetime of healthy habits, and she is committed to making each visit positive and even fun.
